Dear friends,
This is just a brief note to say I’m excited to see many of you this Saturday Feb 25th 1.30-4.30pm at Love Supreme Projects in West London. There are only a few spaces left so book soon if you haven’t yet. The space is magical: warm, light and radiant! The address is 92 Golborne Road, London W10 5PS and booking is here: https://lovesupremeprojects.com/workshops
We will be practising together to experience and embody a new story. The story we have been handed down from generations before us is a story of separation: consciousness separate from matter, body separate from heart and mind, humans separate from each other and this living, breathing Earth. Ultimately, it is a story of being separate from a cold, dead universe in which the fittest fight to survive.
This story ripples out into many more internal stories of lack and loss which filter through the same lens of separation. Yet the closer we come to reality as a mystic, artist or scientist, what we discover instead is the endless interconnectivity of relationship. Everything exists both in relationship and as a relationship. A flow of Oneness. An ocean of beingness. This is the story of interbeing.
We inhabit and embody this new story by tenderly embracing the old one, until these fears of lack and loss no longer feel separate from Love. Yet we are more able to un-blend from these fears and turn towards them with the love they are longing for, when we experience how profoundly we are connected to the web of all things. Inseparably connected to sacredness.
So on Saturday we will practise yoga and meditation together to come back into connection and directly experience the sacredness of this mysterious body, breath, heart and mind. We will feel ourselves held in the gentle arms of both community and Spirit (the intrinsic aliveness and consciousness which permeates all things). From this new space of safety and belonging, we will gently open to the precious vulnerability of being human: and love this too.
The afternoon will involve a long, slow time of yoga practice (all levels) and reflection as we follow the arc of this journey. There will be space for journaling and optional loving sharing in pairs at the end, to deepen our appreciation of whatever has come to light - as well as to deepen the connections between us.
I look forward to seeing you there!
Love Ayala
PS If you are interested but can’t make it this Saturday, bookings are also open for the next London workshop on March 25th and for retreats in Devon (May) and France (October). More info here: http://www.ayalagill.com/
